Advanced Firefighting 4 Day Course  (USCG Approved for all vessels)

• A mariner who successfully completes the course will satisfy the Advanced Fire Fighting training requirements of STCW Code Section A-VI/3 and 46 CFR 11.201(h), and 11.303(a) and the assessments of NAVIC 9-14 Enclosure 2.

• This 32 hour course is approved by the USCG for all vessels and is required for all Master Mariners who wish to hold an STCW endorsement as a Master of any tonnage.

• Students will participate in classroom lectures and discussion along with demonstrations, followed be live fire exercises conducted at our fire training center. This is a hands on course and students should be ready for extreeme physical exertion along with very hot and smokey conditons you would expect in a live fire exercise.  Students should be in good health and will be required to posses a medical certificate issued by the USCG or an ENG1.  Students may also be required to fill out a medical questionare and waiver of liability.
